January 2012 Wallpaper

At the beginning of every month, I will offer my Chocolate for Breakfast readers a new wallpaper to “wear” on the desktop of their computers. The wallpaper is one of my delicious photos, plus a permission slip reminding you to do something “just for fun” every single day.

Our wallpaper for January is a photo of dried strawberries in chocolate couverture from Kingsbury Chocolates. I found this outrageous chocolate bar when I attended a wine and chocolate pairing at ACKC Cocoa Bar in Washington, DC. It was exquisite! The DC location has since closed but you can find ACKC at two different locations in Alexandria, Virginia. It’s worth the trip.

Instructions to claim your wallpaper below.

Here’s how it works:

1- This link will open a new window (or tab) displaying the right wallpaper image for your screen.

2- Right-click (or ctrl-click for some Mac users) on the image, and choose the option that says, “Set as Desktop Background”, “Use as Desktop Picture,” or something like that—the wording will differ slightly with each platform.

3- If the image does not fit your desktop background neatly, you may have to go to your preference screen (on a Mac: System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Desktop; on Windows: Control Panel > Display > Desktop) and choose “Fit to screen”.
