Natalie Goldberg is celebrating the 25-year anniversary of her first book, Writing Down the Bones. And I am celebrating an item on my bucket list. Just What the Doctor Ordered

Food and mood—that’s the topic I began to write about for my Conscious Bites Newsletter this morning. It was a slow but sweet start. I work a little slower on Saturdays. First I make myself a tall glass of electric green juice. Some start their day with java. I prefer a green jolt. Next, I check in with a few friends on facebook. I need my social fix. Then, I fill the bird feeders and decide what I’ll prepare for dinner. Once I have all that sorted out, I sit down to write—something—anything.
